Snask set out to create seven never-seen-before worlds, which would further define Klarna’s recent design leap and the brand’s uniquely “smoooth” transactions. Under our creative direction, an all-star team was assembled, including the collaborative studio Sing-Sing (our set design soul mates).
We developed scenarios to communicate one overarching message through still photography as well as motion. Plus, we supplied Klarna with tons of freedom to use the content across platforms (presentations, website, social media, print, video, and ads) – all from one asset.
Each set was meticulously crafted and custom-built by gifted hands. Whatever dream you’re marching towards, Klarna clears the path for a “smoooth” journey. Whether your dream is slow skating on a treadmill or playing a game of 8 Ball on a pink fur-lined pool table, Klarna sets it in motion. Everyone loves magic, so Snask and Sing-Sing simply brought Klarna’s virtuosity to life. How? Through good ol’ fashion wizardry and the art of performing supernatural design feats.
In the underbelly of Las Vegas, a cesspool of warring biker gangs and seedy strip clubs, gawky, brace-faced Jenna Massoli rocketed into the mainstream spotlight and was transformed into one of the most well-known figures to ever do porn, Jenna Jameson.
Having lost her mother to cancer when Jenna Jameson was a Toddler, and watching her father lose his grip on life as a result, Jenna finds a strange sort of refuge in the world of strip clubs, and eventually nude modeling, that would lead her into the universe of adult films where she would find success on one level, but untold suffering on a much deeper one, her personal life. In these worlds where sex ruled and money reigned, she could use her sexuality as a weapon to fight off the pain and loneliness she felt. But even after attaining lucrative financial wealth and worldwide fame, nothing could fill the pain and solitude from growing up without a loving parent and surviving sexual assault at a startlingly young age.
Her chronicle from naïve teenager to world wary adult film goddess is a hard one, fraught with drugs and alcohol to a near death experience, the wrong men, physical and emotional abuse, self-loathing and her oft-ill attempts to reconcile with her beloved brother Tony and her estranged father, both of whom were struggling with their own secret demons.
Yet her tenacity and shrewd business skills led to her first appearance at Howard Stern’s radio show, landing her first Hollywood movie, becoming the best new actress in Cannes, TV-host for E! Entertainment and “hanging out” with celebrities like Marlyn Manson and Tommy Lee in the Hollywood scene.
This already cinematic book is filled of revealing conversations with Jenna, her brother and her father, excerpts from her diaries and interviews that adds depth and dimension to the narrative, giving us a real picture of what her life was, and is, like – the good, the bad, and the horrifically ugly. The most moving piece of material comes in the form of a letter Jenna’s father sent to her as she was preparing to marry the man she finally gave her heart, and her trust, to. In the letter, which brings you to tears, Jenna learns about the truth behind her mother’s tragic death, and how it changed everything for her entire family.
This intriguing and intimate story has hilarious, heart-breaking and illuminating moments, portraying the first selfmade superstar in the adult industry who set her own rules. As uncut and uncensored as it comes.
The series is based upon the book "How to Make Love Like a Porn Star" written by Neil Strauss and Jenna Jameson.
